Punjab Sewa Kendra Project
Overview and Objectives

515 Sewa Kendras have been setup across 22 districts of Punjab to facilitate delivery of more than 254 citizen centric services relating to various departments of Punjab Government. BLS is managing 354 of them across 16 districts.

Project Highlights

1. Services and Transitions:

  • More than 270 G2C services are provided through Sewa Kendras
  • Services related to more than 25 diverse Government departments
  • More than 10 B2C services are provided through Sewa Kendras
  • 28,000 average Daily transactions
  • A total of 6 million transactions are done till date

2. Infrastructure:

  • 354 Sewa Kendras out of which 199 are in rural areas and in urban areas
  • BLS provided Computing Infrastructure of 1500 computer nodes along with peripherals like printers, scanners, digital slate etc

3. Manpower & Training:

  • BLS employed more than 2500 manpower for this project
  • More than 0.5 million Training hours spent on employees

Our Services

Government of Punjab have developed Web based Centralized application for providing Citizen Services from Punjab Sewa Kendra. Application is hosted at State Data Center & maintained by DoGR. there are approx. 270 services of 25 different departments of Government of Punjab integrated with these portals.
